On this 6th Sunday after Trinity and in these extraordinary times, let us experience Our Father’s love through Jesus Christ, His Son. And with His Love in mind, so today we pray for:

The Church throughout the world, in every country where Jesus is known, worshipped and followed.

Our Benefice: for both congregations, as we work to clarify the vision that will guide our emerging priorities and plans.

We pray for the Sisters of the Church harvest appeal, next month.

. And for David our vicar and Pippa our curate, We also pray for Ginny, our associate priest, who will undergo knee replacement surgery on Tuesday and for all, who contribute to the running of the benefice.

We pray for our charity of the month “Bridges for Communities- connecting people across cultures” and for those who will select our next cycle of charities to support. Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayers.

Our Sovereign and Her Government
Hear us, as we pray for Elizabeth, our queen, and her Government that they will remember the poor, the homeless and the strangers at our door, as they seek to succeed were many have failed. Give them wisdom and kindness to underpin their decisions for the good of us all.

The World: for the life of our planet, its climate and eco-systems and for all those working to find a way to let our world breathe more gently and recover its balance, so that all creatures and plants of your creation survive in health and with a positive future. Lord in Your Mercy, hear our prayers

Lord of the infinite

God of the skies

Creator of all that we know

Do not forsake us

As we stumble and fail

To look after your treasures

Here, abounding on Earth

We can do better

We must do better

We will do better

With the love of your Son,

Our inspiration and guide.

Merciful Father

Accept these prayers for the sake of your Son Our Saviour Jesus Christ Amen
